The flowers are consistently double in my garden. The ruffled edges on both the petals and petaloids carry a beautiful gold edging, adding to the sophistication of the flower. At the center of the flower is a green throat. But, this description does not tell what makes this flower stand out. The flowers are very large, and are presented on very tall, beautifully branched scapes, with 4 branches, plus top buds. The overall effect is highly visible beacons of rose that can be seen from across the garden.
