Jasmine Rossi
[(Bloodfire x Drowning In Desire) x (Lady of Madrid)] x Streetcar Named Desire. Sev. 7" fl. 26" sc. M 20 buds. This richly colored, bright, saturated red flower has all the bells and whistles. It has a large, dark green throat, surrounded by a light red watermark. The petal edges carry a ruffled gold edge, with looping ruffles and gold angel wings. The red self and deep green throat are so richly colored that they remind me of the colors associated with Christmas. The flowers have great carrying power and are a beacon in the garden. They are also easily fertile, and are carried on nice scapes. Named for the lovely daughter of Enrico Rossi, a daylily lover in Italy.
